As a child of an Armenian family from Anatolia\, she experienced the richness of a multicultural neighborhood from an early age. \nShe has peformed in Yerevan\, Beirut\, Munich\, Jerusalem\, and Nuremberg\, and sang soprano parts at many choir festivals in Turkey\, including the Ankara Polyphonic Choirs Festival. \nToday\, Lidya Durmazgüler lives in Istanbul and performs as a multilingual vocalist\, singing in Armenian\, Turkish\, Greek\, English\, Spanish\, Russian\, Ladino\, Arabic\, and Persian. With a deep passion for diverse musical traditions\, she continues to perform melodies that transcend borders and bring cultures together. \n🎶 Miqayel Voskanyan\nMiqayel Voskanyan is an improvisational Armenian tar player\, composer\, bandleader and vocalist based in Armenia creating a distinctive sound in jazz and world music through his innovative performance and original compositions. \nThroughout his career\, he has formed and led more than five music bands\, including Armenia’s leading and award-winning ethno-fusion and alternative jazz band active since 2011- the MVF Band. \nMiqayel was the first tar player to perform in UNESCO Hall in Paris. With over 100 original and arranged compositions\, Miqayel’s work has been performed across more than 40 countries\, on stages at international festivals\, and in film scores.
