How is timbre shaped? How do synthesizers craft sound, and why is noise more than just chaos?
In this first session, Andriesh Gandrabur (@gandriesh) will guide us through the fundamentals of sound synthesis—oscillators, filters, and samplers—exploring their roles in electronic, computer, and contemporary music. The lecture will dive into acoustics, psychoacoustics, and music psychology, linking synthesis to voice leading and overtone perception.
