Armenian State Philharmonic
The State Philharmonic Orchestra of Armenia is a state non-profit organization whose priority goal is to present national, world, classical and contemporary music and present its creators to the general public.
The largest program of the State Philharmonic of Armenia is “School Philharmonic”. Within the framework of the program, classical and national music is presented through concert lessons. Famous musicians and musicologists present the life and works of famous composers as speakers.
Thanks to his professional activities, the School Philharmonic program already includes not only lectures and concerts on classical music, but also ethnographic, folk gusan songs and dances performed by soloists of the best collectives of the republic.
Concerts are held both in the Arno Babajanyan Concert Hall and in public schools. “School Philharmonic” has branches in Gyumri and Artsakh.
The Philharmonic carries out concerts, exhibitions, film screenings, cooperates with many Armenian and foreign creators, as well as with embassies.
